Manual Way to Remove Parking.ps

Parking.ps  is a browser hijacker that change your homepage and default engine without your permission. Computers which are infected with Parking.ps will be redirected to Parking.ps.
Parking.ps trys to pretend to be a website that provide useful information and ads, but it is a browser hijacker. Every time when you open your browser or a new tab, you will be redirected to this site. Sometimes the victims may even get infected when they open the insecure E-mail attachment or click on the links on some websites accidentally. If you click some pop-ups, ads or other links in the sites or from your spam E-mails, you are more likely to catch it because Parking.ps is tied to those pop ups or ads.

Removal Guide:

Step 1: Go to the Task Manager and then end the related processes.
Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del to enter the task Manager and then find Random.exe and end it.


Step 2: Remove add-on(take IE as a example):
Internet Explorer
1) Go to 'Tools' → 'Manage Add-ons;
2) Choose 'Search Providers' → choose 'Bing' search engine or 'Google' search engine and make it default;
3) Select 'Search Results' and click 'Remove' to remove it;
4)  Go to 'Tools' → 'Internet Options', select 'General tab' and click 'Use default' button or enter your own website, e.g. Google.com. Click OK to save the changes.

Step 3: Open the Registry Editor and delete the following entries created by Parking.ps:
(Steps: Hit Win+R keys and then type regedit in Run box and click on OK)


Find the following registry values and remove them:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\[RANDOM CHARACTERS].exe
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings “CertificateRevocation” =Random
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer\run\Random.exe

Step 4: Restart your computer to make your change effective.
