What is Caribarena Ransomware?

 

Caribarena Ransomware is a ransomware. Similar to FBI Home Land security,  Caribarena Ransomware told you that your computer is locked and you have to pay the money if you want your computer unclock. In order to make it more real, it even has three time to limit your input. If you input wrong for over three times, you data will be erased. Some people will choose to make compromise and pay the money, but find that they were scammed because paying the money could not get it removed.

Please wait, you data is being verified. If you entered the correct code and pay the fine you will regain access to your computer. If you entered a wrong code, this message will reappear. If you entered a wrong code three times, your hard drive will be completedly erased. Your computer will be totally damaged and unusable. Your IP address will be stored in our database.

Apart from locking your computer, Caribarena Ransomware can also make much more damage to your computer. For example, it can bring other threats to your computer, like Trojan horse. In order to stay in your computer, it has already changed your system’s setting and registry. The weirdest thing you could find is that your antivirus fails to detect it. Why? Removal Guide

Step 1: Launch your computer into the Safe Mode with Networking.
Keep tapping F8 when you restart your computer and then choose Safe Mode with Networking.

Step 2: Uninstall it from the control panel:
Click Control Panel>>Uninstall a Program.
Find Caribarena Ransomware and uninstall it from your computer.

Step 3: Open the registry editor.

Find the following registry values and then remove them:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run “[random characters]”
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run “[random characters]

Step 4: Restart your computer to make your change effective.
