Removal guide

Step 1: Launch the Task Manager and end its relevant process.
Hit Ctrl+Shift+Esc to enter the Task Manager and find Random.exe, end it.


Step 2:
Open the browser and change its setting (we take Google Chrome as an example):
Internet Explorer
1) Go to 'Tools' → 'Manage Add-ons';
2) Choose 'Search Providers' → choose 'Bing' search engine or 'Google' search engine and make it default;
3) Select 'Search Results' and click 'Remove' to remove it;
4)  Go to 'Tools' → 'Internet Options', select 'General tab' and click 'Use default' button or enter your own website, e.g. Google.com. Click OK to save the changes.

Step 3: Go to the registry and end delete related registry entries:
Hit Win+R and the type regedit.


Find the following registry entries and then remove them:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\random
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\run\

Find the following associated files and then remove them all:
C:\WINDOWS\assembly\GAC\random letters
C:\WINDOWS\system32\random letters

Step 4:
Restart your computer to make your change more effective.
